Sunlit Construction

I was leaving my apartment last week around 6 or 7pm. I turned on to the little drive that connects the parking lot to the street, and boom! I was blinded. The sun was so low, I barely had to lift my head to see it. The sun itself was this perfect white-orange circle dead ahead of me. At first, it was all I could see. As my eyes adjusted, I began to see how beautiful it really was. The light was this wonderful deep orange mass, streaming across the construction site across the street. There were also parts of the contructionsite that were in silouette. It was very peaceful; and a little surreal. Had I not seen it for myself, I wouldn't believe it was real and not staged.
